Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented, energetic technology minded professional for immediate employment in the Baltimore, Maryland office. The Cityworks and AGOL/Portal Administrator position will reside within AECOM’s Water Business Line and support both internal and external clients within other business lines. This position will support a wide variety of AECOM projects including municipal infrastructure and asset management, environmental permitting, construction, site assessments, inspections, energy infrastructure development, water resources, transportation systems, and more. A successful candidate will work both independently and in close coordination with various AECOM staff and project teams to develop, deploy and support both Cityworks and enterprise GIS solutions critical to successful project delivery.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent in this position will maintain, develop and improve, the Cityworks platform to meet the necessary daily, monthly and yearly functions of each client. This will also include standing up new domains as establishments are awarded and maintaining user permissions across all domains. The Administrator will work directly with Management to ensure the goals of the company are being incorporated into the Cityworks platform.
The Administrator will work in an environment of routinely sensitive and confidential issues; therefore, the person in this position must have the ability to achieve policy objectives, including accountability for confidentiality of information. As a responsible professional, the Administrator must be able to work independently and exercise initiative and judgment in the performance of the core job responsibilities of this position.
The Administrator is skilled in the ability to answer questions and find immediate solutions as needed to facilitate a dynamic and high performance organization. This position will interface with corporate accounting, information technology, operations and human capital management department personnel to ensure compliance with accounting, contracting, payroll, personnel policies, procedures, requirements and guidelines, and will also assist internal customers with on-demand support as needed including reporting, training, work analysis, integration and troubleshooting.
Other responsibilities may include:
Administer AMS Designer to include template configuration for work orders, inspections and service requests to include security and imbedded account information and other functionality within system
Setup and revocation of user rights across multiple services and locations (Cityworks and server permissions)
Setup and configuration of Subsidiaries’ domains as they are added
Create and maintain data dictionary for the Cityworks production database
Create and maintain advanced reports utilizing SSRS, and SQL as needed
Continuously review workflows to establish innovative enhancements to Cityworks data entry and operational reports
Analyze and/or resolves hardware, software, and application problems as required to ensure the continued stable use of application
Coordinate the resolution of network hardware, software and application problems between subsidiaries, technical support, implementation partner and Cityworks support desk
Create technical documents and computer training materials, and trains users in use of Cityworks
Create reports, perform queries, and create validation tools for end users and supervisorial staff
Research, recommend and implement solutions effectively and utilize specialized department software and hardware to accomplish department goals or improve department efficiency
Gather and review technical requirements to meet data collection, development standards and implement quality assurance procedures.
Utilize Python, Model Builder, Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Flow, and other commonly used scripting tools to automate workflows and streamline routine processes and tasks.
Utilize Cityworks and Esri Dashboarding tools.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS Degree + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
At least 3 years’ experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Experience with Cityworks administration and usage
Knowledge of the Esri ArcGIS suite of software Proficiency with the Esri ArcGIS suite of products
Experience with dashboarding platforms, including Esri, Cityworks and PowerBI
Microsoft SQL Server: Possess in-depth knowledge and be able to program tables, views, triggers and functions for accurate and timely extraction of data from system
SQL Server Reporting Services: High proficiency in publishing to reports directory, extracting data sources, building data sets and presenting information effectively to be used for making decisions or reporting out to external sources
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
Able to work independently, innovate and produce results with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of Cityworks AMS, Excel and/or Visio
Decision making skills for applying professional/managerial principles and judgment, within overall direction established by senior management
Problem solving skills for solving complex technical or strategic problems, applying technology or business approaches in new ways, recommending and developing and new alternatives
Strong written communication skills for writing reports, lesson plans, workshop materials and correspondence
Strong leadership skills, including ability to work effectively with all levels throughout organization and across functional lines

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $70,222.96 - $129,912.47.
