Work with subject matter experts to develop course content and supporting materialsIdentify and seek guidance from College of Education faculty in areas of expertiseTranslate research based approaches into meaningful and relevant mentoring strategies for a K-12 audienceUnderstand and utilize principles of adult learningUnderstand the needs of early career teachers and design curriculum that trains mentors to meet those needsLead professional learning for mentors and teacher leaders. Lead professional development sessions based on developed curriculumPilot test components as developed and refine curriculum based on feedback from participantsDevelop train-the-trainer resources to prepare others to lead program componentsProvide differentiated learning opportunities for new and experienced mentorsSupport the Summer Mentor Institute in partnership with the Director and Coordinator of START
