Fujitsu ServiceNow Solution Architect in Austin, Texas

Our SaaS practice has a fulltime, permanent opportunity for a ServiceNow Solutions Architect with solid consulting experience supporting successful ServiceNow implementation engagements for external clients.

Work Style :

  • Remote : US - Candidates may be based anywhere in the United States.

Role and Accountabilities:

This will suit an experienced ServiceNow professional with a successful recent track record leading and supporting a variety of ServiceNow implementation related projects.

In addition to experience leading end to end ServiceNow engagements, the successful candidate will be responsible for, (but not limited to), the following duties:

  • Expertise and delivery for ServiceNow based consulting initiatives.

  • Define business problems/opportunities with constraints, goals, budgets and timelines

  • Communicates technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts in understandable business terms

  • Consults with business analyst/project manager to develop appropriate technical solutions

  • Document and gain acceptance / approvals of selected final solutions

  • Execute technical solutions in capacity as a ServiceNow lead, subject matter expert

  • Mentor the technical teams

Qualifications

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of ServiceNow design and development experience

  • Minimum 3 years of ServiceNow architecture experience

  • At least two full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations in the role of a senior Architect

  • Development experience on the ServiceNow platform including customization of applications such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SPM, CSM and GRC

  • Strong consultative background in enterprise environments, should have worked closely with leadership on high visibility program-based initiatives.

  • Experience in creating technical solutions for proposal development during procurement phases

  • Experience with implementation of custom integrations (REST/SOAP, Flow Designer, Data Stream, Scripted REST API)

  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale applications and systems.

  • Ability to formulate and articulate technical vision.

  • Must have strong requirements gathering experience.

  • Proficient in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle.

  • Strong technical and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with ability to function at both the conceptual as well as detail levels.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proven track record in delivering complex technical products in the ServiceNow ecosystem

  • Programming expertise in Java, JavaScript or other functional programming languages

  • Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices

Skills and Certifications

  • Must hold a minimum of 2 ServiceNow certifications – eg: Certified Implementation Specialist Service Now System Administrator.

  • ITIL v3 certification

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills in English.

  • Strong presentation development and Customer Presentation skills

  • Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities
