Data Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate data warehouse plans for a business vertical or a group of business verticals.

2. Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership.

3. Design, build, optimize, launch and support new and existing data models and analytical solutions.

4. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, work with cross-functional data and products teams and build efficient and scalable data solutions.

5. Conduct design and code reviews.

6. Work with data infrastructure to triage infra issues and drive to resolution.

7. Coordinate the delivery of high impact dashboards, tools and data visualizations.

8. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Requires 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include 36 months involving the following:

10. 2. SQL
11. 3. Development experience in Python or PHP
12. 4. Data architecture, data modeling, schema design, and software development
13. 5. Leading data driven projects from definition through interpretation and execution
14. 6. Large data sets, Hadoop, and data visualization tools
15. 7. Initiating and driving projects, and communicating data warehouse plans to internal clients/stakeholders

Public Compensation:

$188,748/year to $235,400/year + bonus + equity + benefits
