Description

Position Overview:

As the Engagement Division Lead within the Information Security Office (ISO), you will play a pivotal role in building the foundation for our engagement initiatives. You will collaborate closely with business units, understand their unique risk profiles and requirements, and serve as a trusted advisor in guiding them towards adopting innovative technologies securely. Additionally, you will be responsible for driving education and awareness efforts, managing open record and eDiscovery requests, and supporting the development and execution of business strategies and roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong business relationships and drive adoption of good security hygiene practices across the organization.

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to enhance security awareness among staff, industry peers, and the community.

  • Collaborate with leadership and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to develop metrics, reporting, and quarterly Customer Business Reviews (CBRs) to assess program efficacy and identify risks.

  • Manage open record requests and eDiscovery hold requests for the IT department, ensuring timely and successful responses.

  • Assist in the development and execution of business strategies and roadmaps by identifying security control requirements, forecasting implementation costs, and assessing ROI.

  • Conduct security and privacy risk assessments of infrastructure, provide recommendations for resolution, and track risk findings.

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for security during internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with Security Operations, Risk & Compliance, Enterprise Infrastructure, and Enterprise Applications teams to resolve issues and champion business change to prioritize security.

  • Translate legal and regulatory technical requirements into business language for effective communication and implementation.

  • Work alongside Security Operations and Risk & Compliance divisions to deploy and optimize existing ISO platforms to meet governance requirements.

  • Continuously research and stay updated on emerging technologies to ensure the ISO remains prepared to address and secure new threats.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) preferred.

  • Proven experience in information security, risk management, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of security principles, frameworks, and regulations (e.g., NIST, GDPR, HIPAA).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical requirements into business language and vice versa.

  • Proficiency in project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Experience with security assessment methodologies and tools.

  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development to stay abreast of evolving cybersecurity threats and technologies.
