Position Description

The Supply Chain System Coordinator is responsible for the overall effective operation and management of the Materials Management Information System (MMIS). This includes providing for training, maintaining security and all system data maintenance. In addition, this position works closely with Finance to manage the accrued receipt process, certain invoice discrepancies, system balancing and interfaces with the financial system. Works closely with IT. Handles all MMIS training. Works closely with all Supply Chain departments providing system data, research and reports as requested.

Position Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and 5 years or more of experience in Material Management with at least 2 years working with operational databases or material mgt systems. Good communication skills, verbal and written. Good math skills. Excellent time management skills. Ability to multi task. Self starter and proactive. Excellent computer skills including operational data bases. Experience with healthcare Material Management and MMIS Systems. Purchasing Fund.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. 7 years or more of experience in Material Management with 3 years experience managing material systems.
