Robotic Process Automation Developer is a professional who specializes in using the UiPath platform to automate business processes. RPA involves the use of software robots (or "bots") to perform repetitive, rule-based tasks, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing the need for human intervention in such processes.

Work Location: Hybrid - Remote with the exception of periodic collaboration meetings, which will be limited.

Salary: $46.47- $86.61/hour

The grade and salary of the position are based on specific criteria met within the qualifications of relevant experience, skills, performance and internal equity.

Description

Candidates with healthcare experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis: Analyzing existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation.

  • Bot Development : Designing and developing automation workflows using UiPath Studio.

  • Bot Deployment: Implementing and deploying bots on the target systems.

  • Testing and Debugging : Ensuring that the bots work as intended and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

  • Maintenance and Monitoring: Monitoring the performance of bots, making updates as necessary, and ensuring ongoing reliability.

  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation related to the automation processes.

  • Skills:

  • UiPath Platform: Proficiency in using UiPath Studio, UiPath Orchestrator, and other UiPath tools.

  • Programming Skills: Familiarity with programming languages like VB.NET or C# as they are commonly used in UiPath workflows.

  • Process Understanding : Ability to understand and document complex business processes.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify automation opportunities and troubleshoot issues.

  • Attention to Detail: Because RPA involves automating repetitive tasks, attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy.

  • Communication Skills : Effective communication is important for documenting processes, gathering requirements, and explaining automation solutions to stakeholders.

  • Ideal Certification: UiPath Certified RPA Developer

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field is required from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

  • Eight years related Information Technology experience preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.

  • Experience with application design, development and optimization from business requirements through day-to-day management.

  • Proven record of effectively communicating at all organizational levels, understanding the Institution's business, missions and goals, and translating those goals into information technology initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

  • Must have a high level of judgment, decision-making, discretion and integrity.

  • Experience managing and working knowledge of a variety of platforms and of system deployment in a heterogeneous environment with a clear vision of how to use information technology to improve productivity, performance and delivery of service.
