Amazon IT Execution Manager in Antioch, Tennessee

Description

The IT Manager role within Amazon Ops Tech Solutions is a critical position that encompasses a wide range of responsibilities and demands a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of operational efficiency. IT Manager will be tasked with overseeing the IT RAD operations, ensuring that all the IT equipment that RAD is handling is being manager on the highest standards.

Key job responsibilities

Lead a team of talented IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment to ensure the delivery of high-quality support and innovative solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Operations Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Execute business critical IT tasks such as end user equipment configuration, RMA troubleshooting repair and replacement, document the troubleshooting process and keep the organization policies up to date, record accurate device level information and provide IT support to RAD Operations processes.

Key driver of operational excellence, leads incident management and root cause analysis efforts, continuously enhancing processes to minimize disruptions and enhance the overall reliability of IT systems. Implements best practices, establish robust data capturing and reporting mechanisms, and drive proactive measures to identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.

Collaborates with business leaders, providing strategic guidance on IT initiatives and demonstrating the value of IT services in achieving organizational goals. Liaises with senior management, presenting updates, insights, and recommendations to drive data driven decision-making.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or 4+ years relevant professional, industry or military experience.

5+ years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations.

Experience working with stakeholders to communicate issues while balancing business expectations.

Leadership experience in operations supporting RMA services and IT equipment (compute, network, storage).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Technical discipline.

Strong analytical problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced IT environment and capable of motivating teams

Experienced in making data-driven decisions.

Established time management skills with the ability to direct multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in procurement, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management.

Proven skills in leadership development and team building.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
