Digital Solution Advisor Manager (BTP): SAP Digital Hub

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Job Profile

A Digital Solution Advisor is a customer-facing role mapping product capabilities to requirements of prospects to support the selling of solutions and services. This role serves as domain expert and spokesperson for designated solutions or product segments.

The Digital Solution Advisor Manager leads the team in the execution of their mission.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

These are some of the responsibilities of the Digital Solution Advisor Manager:

Area 1: Business Contribution

They will work closely with sales and other relate teams to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions that align with company offerings.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's product and service offerings to ensure accurate and compelling presentations to prospects.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and ensure customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Monitor and report on presales activities, ensuring that the team's efforts align with the broader business goals.

Area 2: Lead the Digital Solution Advisor team

They will provide clear guidance and mentorship to the Digital Solution Advisory team, setting clear objective s and performance expectations.

Ensure that team members have the appropriate training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.

Coordinate with sales, marketing, and technical teams to align strategies and objectives.

Manage the recruitment and selection of new team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Area 3: Inspire and Drive Constant Innovation:

They will stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the Digital Solution Advisory team is always ahead of the curve.

Encourage and facilitate brainstorming sessions within the team to come up with innovative solutions for clients.

Act as a conduit between the DSA team and product development, channelling feedback to ensure the continuous evolution of the company's offerings.

Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging team members to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred.

  • Proven track record of success in presales or a similar customer-facing role within the technology industry. This includes a minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Familiarity with our product suite and the broader industry landscape is essential. The candidate should demonstrate a deep understanding of crafting and delivering compelling product demonstrations, handling technical objections, and collaborating effectively with sales and technical teams. Additionally, experience in guiding teams through complex sales cycles, fostering innovation in presales methodologies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives is highly desired. Prior exposure to conducting workshops, webinars, and training sessions would be advantageous.

Compensation Range Transparency : SAPbelieves the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAPs commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 184000 - 390200 USD.The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidatewill be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills,experience, scope ofthe role, location, etc. as determinedthrough theselection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
