Your Role in that Mission:
As the Demand and Supply Manager, you are part of a centralized team that provides specialized technical services to clients as part of our enhanced service offerings. Specifically, this role specializes in providing upfront and ongoing demand planning services, including early demand plans, global inventory optimization strategies, proactive inventory management, portfolio management, and IRT set-up consultation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, interpret and review inventory management plan to forecast supply plan of study drugs to global and sophisticated clinical trials, using sound supply chain techniques
Provide input into User Requirement Specifications of Interactive Response Technology (IRT) medication management module and complete User Acceptance Testing if required
Review IRT strategy to ensure it supports the strategic supply plans and that IRT settings are adjusted to optimize the supply and demand
Ensure plans are robust and optimize global and regional supply strategies to ensure continuity of patient supply in the most effective and efficient manner
Develop and provide clients with reports on actual project spend versus budget
Establish connections between demand planning team and S&OP to ensure the latest forecast information is aggregated and integrated into the divisional S&OP process
Partner with the Enterprise Project Manager, along with global and site project management teams and/or directly with the customer to inform and proactively share key client data necessary to facilitate an effective supply chain planning cycle
Ensure temperature excursion process is performed as required
Establish and maintain financial forecasts and monthly billing processes for assigned client projects
Assist in training and on boarding of new employees (buddy concept)
Stay on top of relevant cGMPs, GCPs, and other regulatory requirements and ensure study management activities are aligned

Manages the demand planning part of projects efficiently in different systems and maintains their own as well as the team’s accountability for using Thermo Fisher tools to help the team be successful.
Demonstrates comfort with technology and uses innovations to advance the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes, procedures, and outputs.
Knowledge of general inventory and billing principles, good documentation practices, and report generation
Project Management Leadership
Works with others to quickly resolve or escalate solutions to problems Develops a sense of urgency among cross-functional teams to influence project deliverables
Communicates at the accurate time, understands boundaries, respects differences, and confronts tension. Ensures that all communications are clear, focused, and based on a solid understanding of needs, using the most appropriate medium
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business/operations management (equivalent work experience may be considered)
4 to 5 years of supply chain and/or planning experience managing global supply chain design and logistics management, preferably as they relate to clinical program design and execution
Understanding of clinical supply requirements, phases of clinical development, and the factors that influence study designs preferred

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Switzerland is CHF81,000.00–CHF106,000.00.
