Developer: Capital District Physicians’ Health Plan, Inc. (Albany, NY) seeks Developer to perform business and technical analysis to create new designs and integrations with Salesforce and other sub-domain applications. Develop and maintain applications and/or custom code in Salesforce as well as integrating other technologies and apps with Salesforce. Create technical documentation in support of applications with guidance as needed. Maintain process documentation to support technical changes that align with CDPHP enterprise standards. Propose improvements in existing applications, by analyzing problems and designing enhancements and controls to eliminate system inefficiencies or inadequacies. Assess available technologies based on business requirements and recommend best practice solutions. Create and execute unit testing plans. Participate in technical peer reviews; track all work tasks and deliverables for each assignment/project; work collaboratively with business colleagues and other stakeholders to develop and deliver quality products; ensure systems development life cycle is followed. May telecommute from any location in the US. Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related Information Science/Information Technology (IT) field, with two (2) years of experience in software development, including hands-on experience with Salesforce or Force.com to create/manage workflows, experience writing SOQL and SOSL queries, and experience with use of Workbench, Data Loader, and Eclipse.
